The meaning of "Making Meanings"

Making meanings is all about representation, communication and power. It is the relationship between the media and the world. Whatever is being represented to us makes us think. And each of us has a different way of thinking for reasons like culture, religion and education. Everyone does not have the same view of things shown to them. We see through the lens of cultural knowledge otherwise we would not be able to make a sense of it.
